Did you that the printing industry is one of the largest users of renewable energy?

Alongside creating high-quality print products, we’ve always kept environmentally-friendly practices front of mind. Printing doesn’t have to be a wasteful industry, and we believe we can help create a sustainable future for our family and yours.

Here are just some of the ways that we integrate eco-friendly practices into our printing process:

Here are just some of the ways that we integrate eco-friendly practices into our printing process:

  • We choose carbon neutral and recycled papers. Creating recycled paper uses less energy than virgin paper production, while also reducing the impact on our forests.
  • We use vegetable and soy-based inks. The production of chemical inks is harmful to our environment throughout the production process, with damaging greenhouse gases emitted and excess ink finding its way into our waterways.
  • We recycle paper, packaging, printing plates, and timber pallets. Recycling is the easiest step we can take to make printing a more renewable process, as we reduce landfill and make the most of each precious resource.
  • We limit press and prepress chemicals and water use. In addition to being harmful to our health, strong printing chemicals damage the environment. We also know that chemicals and water are finite materials that we need to use sparingly.

We also provide appropriate training for our staff, comply with all government legislation, and are continually reviewing strategies to prevent pollution and waste.

And when it comes to renewable energy, we proudly use an 80Kw solar system that reduces our power consumption by 30%.
